Conflict Management

How to Create Positive and Productive Conflict

In this workshop, we will look at your individual style of dealing with conflict and give you some tips and ideas of how to deal with conflict.


Train Me Today's Conflict Management Web class helps participants capitalize on the strengths and limit the weaknesses of their conflict management styles. We being with an online style/workplace behavior assessment. Completion of this assessment takes approximately 10-minutes, and scoring the assessment reveals a dominant preference for one or more four personal styles:


  1. Interactive/Influencing
  2. Direct/Dominant
  3. Supportive/Service
  4. Conscientious/Systematic


Learning Outcomes


By the end of this assessment, participants will:


  • Pinpoint one of four style preferences
  • Discover how style affects behavior
  • Recognize the strengths and weaknesses of each style
  • Learn how to interact with different styles to make conflict positive.

This program will show you what conflict is, both positive and negative and how to create positive and constructive conflict in your work environment. 

2 Hour INSTRUCTOR LEAD WEB CLASS

Not all conflict is bad.  Good conflict can be very beneficial.  Conflict management is the process of limiting the negative aspects of conflict while increasing the positive aspects of conflict.
